Meet the Staff

Our staff is proficient in Norsk. They all share a talent for combining Norwegian-only conversation with gestures, songs, skits and activities to make you feel at home, have fun, meet new friends and learn new Norwegian words and phrases.

Our counselors from the United States join native Norwegian speakers to engage with villagers and share experiences using vocabulary repetition and gestures to increase understanding and retention.

Why Learn Norwegian?

There are so many reasons to learn Norwegian! Because you have a spirit of adventure! Because that’s the language and culture of the Vikings, Arctic explorer and statesman Fridtjof Nansen, prime minister Gro Harlem Brundtland, chess master Magnus Carlson (and because you want to know what the fox says på norsk).
